EMBRACE THE ESSENCE OF FOLEGANDROS

Folegandros was formerly referred to as the “Island of Iron” in Ancient Greece due to its arid terrain and desolate coastline comprising capes, bays, and beaches. It is a small island in the southern part of the Cyclades, next to Santorini. The duration of the speedboat ride from Athens to Folegandros is around 4.30 hours.

Chora, the capital, hangs precariously from a lofty cliff. Admire the picturesque, old-fashioned bars that provide views of the Aegean and the numerous plazas brimming with the ornate churches that are emblematic symbols of the Cyclades.

Our Location

ANEMI Folegandros is situated only a few minutes from Karavostasis and the island’s Chora, a location that gives visitors the opportunity to discover the most amazing spots of the island in a few minutes, like Hochlidia Beach with its tamarisk trees and family taverns offering some exceptional local dishes. You can also visit the most isolated and peaceful beaches of Folegandros by choosing one of the small traditional boats that will guide you to dreamy coves that are not accessible by road, such as the beaches of Katergo or Livadaki.
